Registration Day
Registration day setup in the office. 8 windows open on three devices.
The journey of 48.6 miles begins with a single step, or in this case, a few clicks and alot of stress. Registering for these races is more stressful than race day. It's amazing how the popularity of these races has grown over the last several years. There seems to have been a running boom since the pandemic.
10:00 AM - All of my Run Disney windows show a wait of over an hour except for 1, which shows 35 minutes.
10:22 AM I'm out of the queue and registering It's not just me I have to register. In addition to registering a friend for Dopey, I'm also registering my wife for the 5K, 10K and Half. I've entered all of the information and I'm on the last race registering my wife. I decide to hit "autofill" on our address. The entire page locks up. Navigation is locked, fields are locked, I can't do anything.
10:28 AM - I start over. I finally get ALL of the information re-entered and checkout.
10:31 AM - Email confirmation in hand.
I guess I have to train for this now. :-)
Stress level during registration according to my Garmin watch. Can you tell when it was?
